News

Announcing the Sale of the Store!

We have arranged to transfer the store to a new ownership team, led by San Antonio's own famous wine blogger, The Ceci Sipper! This will allow Valarie to concentrate on other activities. Both Valarie and Jim will be frequent visitors to the store to help with the transition and to see old friends. We expect the actual change of ownership to take place around the First of December. And, be sure to read Ceci's blog.

But what about Malbec!!!

Malbec, the well-known wine store cat, will be moving into the household of Valarie and Jim. We hope that he takes well to riding in the car so that he can make regular guest appearances at the store on Saturdays! Rest assured, we consider Malbec to be family and he will be taken care of. We have asked Ceci if she would be willing to host his birthday party every September, as we have for the past three years, and at this point, it looks like "He will turn Four at the Store"!!!
